$FAN Quests are interactive, gamified missions designed to enhance your experience and impact on the Film.io platform. By participating, you not only earn rewards, but also contribute to a democratized community that helps film and TV projects on the road to greenlight, funding and exposure. Participating also affords you rewards that can be used to unlock exclusive opportunities within the community.
How It Works
- Signup with your Film.io user email at club.film.io
- Complete daily Quests to collect GEMs and XP
- Use GEMs in the Club Shop to redeem $FAN awards
- Rack up XP points to climb the Leaderboard for additional prizes
Pro Tip: Earn more GEMs and XP When you engage with projects and creators on Film.io. By staking $FAN, leaving reviews, and following projects on the “Explore” page, you are helping to push Film.io mission and ethos forward. The more you stake $FAN, the more Quests you conquer.

What are GEMs and XP?
GEMs are club points (virtual, not an on-chain token) used to unlock rewards and unique experiences in the club.film.io Shop. See How to use GEMs.
XP points are your primary club reputation measure on club.film.io. Your XP points balance determines your position on the club Leaderboard. XP points are earned as you continue to contribute and support creators on Film.io. XP points may be deducted when you remove your support from creators’ projects or when you stop doing your minimum part as a Film.io DAO member which is to explore, review, and spread the word about your favorite projects on Film.io.
How to Earn GEMs and XP points
Immerse yourself in Film.io Quests daily to earn GEMs and XP Points. The more you stake into projects on app.Film.io, the more quests you conquer, the more GEMs and XP Points you’ll accumulate.

- Get GEMs for every completed quest
- Get more GEMs every time you Stake $FAN and take action to support creators’ projects on app.Film.io
- Keep an eye on Film.io official Discord, Telegram, and Newsletter for timely opportunities for more GEMs
Here’s how the XP points system works:
Maximize XP by collaborating with creators on Film.io through staking, sharing, following and engaging on creators’ newsreels. The more you engage and support your favorite creators, the higher you’ll climb up the leaderboard.
- Earn XP for your actions to support creators on app.film.io (e.g. Receive XP every time you Stake into any project on Film.io)
- Earn XP when you complete club quests
- Lose XP every time you remove your support from a project on app.film.io (e.g. when you “unstake” or when you stop showing up at least weekly to review, provide notes, and spread the word as the minimum commitment of all Film.io DAO members).
How to use GEMs – The Shop
Visit the Shop to unlock exclusive experiences and $FAN rewards with your hard earned GEMs. The club Shop items are dynamic so make sure to check in daily to see what’s available in the Shop. Here is an example of some of the Shop items that may be available to redeem with GEMs:

The Club Leaderboard
Climb the leaderboard to increase your chances of being included in upcoming AirDrop and Allow List snapshot opportunities. The higher your rank, the better your chances to secure your spot in these exclusive activities.

Aim for greatness and be among the top 10 fans on the Film.io leaderboard. Join Film.io before May 4, 2024 for a chance to win a share of the Film.io SXSW Collaboration prize* fan award. The $5K USDC fan award will be distributed among the top 10 fans based on Leaderboard XP Points. The higher your rank on the leaderboard, the larger your share of the prize will be.
