As a filmmaker, you’re eligible to participate in the Go Score™ Creator Challenge when you submit your project on our platform. In line with the Global Creativity Foundation’s dedication to provide creators support throughout the entire film production process, the GCF has graciously introduced the $10,000 Go Score™ Creator Challenge during the Film.io public access event at Sundance. Starting January 20th, 2024, every film uploaded to the platform is automatically entered into the challenge. Read on to learn about how the challenge works. What is Go Score™ anyway? The Go Score™ is a key part of the Film.io decentralized filmmaking ecosystem. The unique Go Score™ algorithm evaluates various engagement and participation metrics and forecasts the potential success of creators’ projects on Film.io. More specifically, the tool aids creators on our platform in gauging the effectiveness of their promotional strategies and allows them to adjust course, if necessary. It also assists producers, film investors, and other stakeholders within our ecosystem to identify creators and projects to support.
Compromising multiple stages, the Go Score™ assesses fan involvement, token stakes, project reviews, and more. It consolidates indicators of enthusiasm and momentum to rank projects based on their developmental potential. This marks a notable shift from traditional project evaluation methods and introduces transparency, user reputation, and fan-driven validation into the film greenlighting process.
One way to be proactive in this challenge is to promote project awareness. We encourage you use ‘#FilmioCreatorChallenge’ on social media and share your participation in the challenge.
