What are DAO Tiers?
DAO Tiers are a membership and community leadership system that plays a crucial role in shaping the future of Film.io. It offers various membership levels, including:
- Unranked
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
Being a part of this new DAO community as an early adopter puts users in a position to help shape its growth and development. As Film.io matures, these tiers will evolve to allow members to submit proposals for platform development and vote on the future direction of Film.io. By joining the DAO Tiers, users can participate in decision-making and contribute to the growth of the Filmio ecosystem.
Are DAO Tiers different from Superfan levels?
It’s important to clarify that DAO Tiers refer to your membership level on the Film.io platform, while Superfan levels are specific to the projects you are engaged with and support. Fans can have multiple projects where they are Superfans but they will only have one DAO tier ranking per account.
How to graduate & upgrade to the next DAO Tier?
On your profile page, you’ll find your DAO tier rank and progress. You’ll see where you are currently ranked and if you click on the next tier, you’ll get a drop-down of the tier requirements and where you are in meeting them. Once you fulfill these requirements, you’ll be able to level up your tier and collect advanced rewards.

Creators Claiming your 10,000 Airdrop FAN Tokens

Don’t worry, levelling up through our Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum DAO ranks is easy – and fun! 25% of your 10,000 tokens will be airdropped into your wallet each time you level up by doing actions. To achieve the first 25% and earn a Bronze membership, you need to review and stake any amount of tokens to one project. Don’t know what actions to take to move up to each level? Film.io launched the largest airdrop in the entertainment industry which allows you to be a Film.io DAO member and help replace centralized power in the filmmaking industry with transparency and inclusivity. This was your first opportunity to help govern Film.io — Hollywood reinvented the blockchain. If you participated in the airdrop, you reserved 1,000 FAN Tokens and we gave one randomly selected winner $1,000 in Bitcoin for being one of the 20,000 fans to complete all of the steps of the Film.io FAN Airdrop Gleam campaign.

Remember, the more actions you take like sharing, reviewing, and staking to the projects you support, the more you will rise through the Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum tier ranks and gain increased governance power to decide what projects get greenlit!
We will be releasing 25% for each DAO tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum) that’s unlocked by completing additional actions within the Film.io platform.
